His 17-year-long association with SpaceX goes back to 2003, where he has risen through the ranks of Avionics Engineer, Mission Manager, Product Director, and Senior Director. Supporting 6000+ employees, he enables an environment where technology and innovation can thrive. Prior to SpaceX, Bjelde was an Associate Engineer at NASA. He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California.
