Steven Mizell aims to create a global workforce where the invention is at the forefront and all employees, irrespective of job titles, can work together to help the company achieve its mission to save and improve lives. He is focused on creating a culture that supports employees in bringing their “whole selves to work.” His first year in his role at Merck saw the company landing two key recognitions – Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators and People Magazine’s Companies That Care, among others. He has a bachelor’s of science in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in management and public policy analysis from Carnegie Mellon University.
